This was an experiment with piping. I love the color combination, but had trouble sewing this on my Consew so used my regular sewing machine.

teal grn blk tote front — The front and back are the same. I used a magnetic snap on the matching black leather tab closure.

teal grn blk tote inside — A light colored interior makes it easier to see your stuff. The split patch pocket is perfect for your cell phone and keys.

This was a gift for a friend who wanted one bag to wear with black or brown shoes.

blk & bro wristlet w strap — This was an engineering feat sewn on a home machine. Up-cycled garment-grade leather with gold colored turn-lock.

blk n bro wristlet strap — The long strap is detachable and can be replaced to carry as a wristlet.

blk n bro wristlet open — The black cotton zip closure is concealed by the black leather lined flap.

Purple & Black Handmade Paper with Black Leather

This was an experiment with store-bought handmade paper.

front purple n black paper — Clear plastic coating protects the paper. The slight arc shaped rigid leather handles are a play on the arcs in the paper design.

side view purple & black paper — The sides and bottom are up-cycled black napa leather.

inside purple & black paper — A light colored vinyl interior and patch pocket makes it easy to find your keys or cell phone.

I made this little bag to match two different pairs of shoes. The perfect addition to that spring or summer outfit.

2 tone bag handles up — Carrying options are the padded soft handles or a store-bought detachable strap.

2 tone bottom — SIlver colored metal feet help keep the bottom dirt free.

2 tone top & inside view

A tab closure & magnetic strap plus a zip closure center pocket are features of this up-cycled drapery lining interior.

This bag was done on my regular sewing machine – fun gift for a family member. I knew so little about construction at the time; the bugger had a short life…not sure I will try again as no two bags are alike!

The silver metal hardware was just the right accent for this open tote large enough to carry a laptop or tablet.
