I enjoyed making slab bowls and experimenting with textures and colors.
This blue bowl has black oxide splatters & just enough engobe wiped into the textured crevices.

I called this piece “Space” – quasi-boxes in black with white spatters and a red shiny interior glaze.

An experiment with three clays.
This was a piece I donated for a charity silent auction.
The front & back of this vase were basically the same. Iron oxide spatters on white clay with a clear glaze.
The mouth reminded me of a fish…I later learned a colleague’s wife won the auction.
