Ideas for a brochure

This was the first prototype/re-work of my wristlet pattern. I liked the contrast of the green with sharp black suede and white stitching (they were too crooked for me though!)

This was the second - I made the flap longer & used a magnetic snap istead of the turn lock.

A flat top for my post machine.

Sans flat top (awesome for going around corners and such!)

I really like my post machine, but sometimes I’d prefer a larger surface to sew my big flat pieces…so I created this little beauty.  A box just the right size with a little inside support and a hole cut in the top did the trick.

Like magic or too ghetto? Dunno, but it works (uh, did I just jinx it?)

My First Bag From Leather School

I had been shoe shopping before I began  class at leather school and picked up these little beauties…

patent bow sling backs
I absolutely LOVE this shoe shop in Florence! Their selection is amazing and the people extremely helpful. (Angiolo Benigni – Calzoleria “La Fiorentina”)

I just had to have a bag to match, so I made this little over the shoulder bag. The bow comes off so I can add other accents and wear with more than one pair of patent shoes. Genius!?
